When you delete section breaks, you delete margin settings and headers and footers! That is where these settings are stored. I have also tried setting the margins the same throughout the document as you suggested (although I need different margins at the bottom of the page) but the header and footer still disappear!Īs suggested by Neha, I have also updated my Word application. I have deleted the section break and deleted content and headers and footers still disappear.
